Very welcoming - a pot of fresh coffee was brought to the room, even though kettle etc were available. We were asked if there was anything we needed - iron etc. Comfortable and interesting old house and a wonderful breakfast! Lovely stay.

Pleasant rural location and house - clean and comfortable - quiet
It would have been good to have been met by someone, rather than just a boy showing me the room. This would then have avoided miscommunication over the earliest time for breakfast which meant me missing breakfast unnecessarily The wi fi had no connectivety, and, with no vodaphone mobile signal, meant that I had to go into a pub in the nearest town to work on my emails. Parking the car on a poorly lit lane outside the house was not ideal Quite expensive for what was on offer

The Vines is a warm family home with attention to cleanliness comfort and decor . It is promoted as a dog friendly residence but it is just fine for non-dog lovers too as they were only introduced to you at your request . The owners were very pleasant . Breakfast was Yummy .

The room was delightfully furnished and equipped (the addition of a bottle of orange squash was very welcome), and provided a welcome haven at the end of a difficult day. Leigh herself couldn't have been more helpful or accommodating. Addtionally, there is a pub within a short walk which offers evening meals, so the location could not be better. All in all a delightful stay.

Very friendly and welcoming Excellent breakfast
Our room was a little bit on the small side but comfortable none the less. Being a very old house it was a little cold but we still enjoyed our stay.

Fantastic place. Lady was an absolute charm. The room was fantastic, the bed very comfortable. Tea, coffee, chocolate, water, orange, biscuits and chocolates in the room. Dressing gowns and slippers, flat screen TV. Low beams and country feel throughout. The 15th century home has been added to my favourites!
